SEVEN GREAT IDEAS TO WEAR YOUR CLIP IN OR STICK TIP HAIR EXTENSIONS WELL

When you wear hair extensions, it’s important that your hair looks ‘believable’. By that, we mean all the sections must blend in! It’s also important that if you curl your hair, there aren’t chunks of straight extensions hanging out below it – that’s a sure-fire giveaway.

WHAT KIND OF HAIR DO YOU WANT?

First of all – select the right kind of extensions. Real hair or synthetic? Real hair is obviously more versatile (and you won’t have to worry when you get near heat – it won’t go frizzy like synthetic hair). You can also wash and style it more easily, but it all depends on your budget. Now decide if you want clip ins, stick tip or weave, why not read our guide to see whats best for you? With clip- in its a little more difficult for some styles so make sure you place the hair under the top layers, so nobody can see. Then – it’s time to start styling.

We only sell real hair because we know that it looks the best, and the quality of hair is famous. We have many celebrities that use our hair and also supply most of the top UK hair salons. We have our traditional  Remy hair Diamond and now our Diamond Ultimate, the more you pay the more it costs, but in reality, the more expensive hair lasts so much longer so if you can invest up front it’s always the best way.

1) BEACH BABE CURLS

Wash your hair with a non-sulfate shampoo and conditioner, whilst still damp twist the bottom of your hair into loops and secure with a kirby grip. Make sure you section off your hair ( try these) first and you will find it much easier. We recommend using a 2cm width for perfect tresses. Leave to dry naturally and spritz with a little hairspray for hold, not too much we don’t want crunchy hair!

2) LONG SIDE PONYTAIL

Clip in extensions, gather hair to one side and secure with a tight band to keep it in place. Really easy and very stylish! If you have permanent extensions this is even easier!

3) HIGH BUN

Create a high ponytail using a non-snag band such as  Blax . You can use a hair donut if you want to create even more volume, pull your pony through it and wrap around smoothing the bun as you twist the hair around the donut or the base of your pony tail and fasten with a couple of grips.

4) SUPER HIGH PONY WITH A TWIST

Secure your own hair into a ponytail as high as possible up the back of your head. Take one piece of the hair around an inch thick and wrap this around the pony tail, secure with a grip underneath where the hair falls naturally. Section off your hair and curl with tongs at the end and create a beautiful bouncy style.

5) LONG CURLY TRESSES

Divide hair into sections (pin up the top layers out of the way and work from underneath). Take a section of hair and curl it either forwards or backwards using a curling iron or straighteners, make sure you use a heat control spray. Hold for a few seconds, then gently release to allow the curl to fall and cool. Take another section and repeat. Work through the whole head of hair, from bottom to top.

6) BRAIDED

Call them braids or plaits, these are really easy to wear. It’s all about experimenting. You can part-braid some of the hair, or sections on top. Or braid it and then pin to the top of your head (like Heidi). Or try this waterfall braid on You Tube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rlBlDYBLTn0

7) STRAIGHT AND SEDUCTIVE

Don’t forget the allure of beautiful straight long hair either! Just make sure it’s all in fantastic condition, and if you need the extenstions trimming to suit your normal style, then don’t be afraid to have them tweaked a little. Finish off after styling with some high-sheen spray, and you’re good to go!
